    Hi,

In my old Compaq computer I had stored many web pages in Win 98 cache memory.

That computer is not working anymore due to motherboard problems.

I want to retrieve those web pages.

I have a new Dell computer which has following configuration :

    P4 HT 2.6 GHz
    Win XP Pro SP2
    512 MB DDR 400 RAM
    Mother Board is Intel 875

Is it possible to take the current hard drive out & put in old hard drive with win 98 SE & retrieve those cached web pages.?

I tried to do that but it will not boot win 98.

I am getting the error that NTLDR missing. What is it & where can I find it ?

How do I install it if somebody sends me NTLDR.

Is it at all possible to somehow retrieve those web pages ? They are very important to me.

    Thank You

Why don`t you connect the old drive as a SLAVE in your new computer ?

Then you could copy off everything you want.
