  1. I'm trying to uninstall msn messenger on my work computer. Apparently they're cracking down on msn use or something. But surprise surprise, Microsoft has made it as difficult as possible to get rid of. The way I've seen to do it is to go start - run - RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection c:\windows\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove. But as it turns out the file msmsgs.inf doesn't seem to exist on my system. So plan B....manually edit sysoc.inf to make msn appear in add/remove programs. Sure enough, that file was nowhere to be found either.

I'm using Windows 98 and yes, hidden files are showing. Any suggestions????
