How do I use an Xbox controller on my Pc?

  1. I just bought an xbox controller and the usb adapter, how do I make it work on my pc? Do I need special drivers for it or what?

    Yes, you need drivers. I can't be asked to look for any information on this right now (at work; slacking off more than I should be already), but you should use the search feature at the hardcoreware.net forums. I recall a buzz about this a while ago at those forums and they had links to instructions and drivers, etc. The bottom line is that the XBOX has a standard USB controller, but the controllers have proprietary heads, so you'll need to canibalize a different USB cable to make this work (if I recall correctly).
