How do you get Vista to recognize an XP graphics driver?

I was just broken the news at staples that I need to downgrade from vita to xp but i don't have money. I was wondering if there was a way for vista to recognize my ati mobility radeon driver integrated into my system.

Additional info: my computer is Sony Vaio PCG-Z1WA

Had a quick look through the drivers list here :

It seems most of the drivers listed should have no issues running on Xp.

Out of curiosity why are you downgrading? performance issues?

Sorry your post doesn't really make sense... you want to downgrade to XP but you're saying you want vista to recognise the driver?
