How long before a new thread is approved ?

    Not exactly sure what you mean by approved, but so long as you observe forum rules you should be ok. See this is your first post, so welcome to Techspot ... you might want to stop by the Introduce Yourself subforum to tell us a little bit about yourself.

    Sometimes (maybe all?) a new thread by a new poster has to be approved. I think it has to do with the system maybe thinking its spam. Usually a mod will see those pretty quickly and read/approve if it isn't spam. I'd say it will likely get seen and approved in less than half a day.
