How to change boot options

  1. Hi,
    I have windows 7 installed on D, i have some problems logging in, so i restored a backup version of it to another partition ( I ), now how can i make PC starts up from I not from D ?

    Note: i have access to XP version but it's not on the same HDD.

    Not easily done. Not easy enough to post here. You need to obtain a Windows 7 book or a websigte devoted to the problem... where there is more room for discussion. Then we would need your computer brand and model, or motherboard, hard drive, memory, and other info... going back into the history on D... and which install disk you used.
    It is difficult to very difficult, because Microsoft has so many preventative blocks... that prevent the theft of Windows which is a similar process.
