How to config..???

please help me... anyone.... hmmm i have two notebook,,,, they are all using windows xp pro and one of them connect to the internet directly through USB port and i want to she are the internet connection to the other one..... but i can not...i connect them directly with each other using cross over cable.... i just can only use file sharing only.... so ... please give me some tips to do it.....:-D

Install/activate IIS on both laptops.
However, with that you will need to have the internet-connected laptop switched on, when the other one wants to go online.
It's easier to get a router, and hook both laptops up to that.
They can then independently go online.
