  1. Hi guys,
I've bought a new Panasonic Viera 32 inch LCD TV with HDMI and VGA connection.I've an old PC with VGA output only connected to a CRT monitor.I would like to watch the movies stored in my HDD in my new LCD TV.I know HDMI is of no use,but what cable should I be buying for connecting my PC to TV?

You need a VGA to VGA cable (or if you are lucky you can disconnect the one from your monitor and use it) and will also need an audio cable, one with a headphone jack on both ends (probably).

At the VGA in on the TV there will be an audio jack, typically its just a 3.5mm headphone jack, but it may be the RCA style with a red and white RCA jack for left and right channel.

monoprice.com is good for cheap cables (that work) if you didn't need it immediately.
