How to increase the onboard graphic memory in laptop?

Hi,
I have hp pavilion dv6 laptop with 2Gb RAM and 760Mb onboard graphics. So is there any perticular method to increase the graphic memory?

Some laptops has an option in the BIOS where you can choose how much of the available RAM you want to share with the video card, so if your laptop has that option just add more RAM and adjust in the BIOS :)

If you truly have an onboard graphics chip then i would not increase the memory unless you had a very specific reason to do so. The main reason i say this is that the 760Mb of onboard graphics memory is coming out of your main RAM so you are currently running with 1.3Gb RAM which is pushing the lower limit for Windows 7 (assuming you are running Windows 7 or Vista).

Here is a good article from Intel on how to adjust memory for their integrated graphics and how it affects your available system RAM.
