How to integrate GPS API in a website that can be accessed through mobile

I exactly want to integrate a GPS API that can work when the website is opened from a mobile, and we get the latitude and longitude of a place……!!!
Anybody having any work experience in integrating /making/ working on a GPS system…….pls reply….
