My query may be *****ic, and I may be excused for it for, after all, the Forum has declared me a "newcomer, in training". Is it posssible to protect an entire folder with umpteen files in one stroke, instead of applying Password protection to all the individual files thereof? Benevolent members are requested to please enlighten me on this point.

You can use Folder Lock, it's free and works well.

    To: Fastco TechSpot Addict.

Thanks for your advice to use Folderlock. I will. But isnt there any method within the OS to achieve the object (How to Password protect an entire folder?). Will be grateful for guidance on this point.
