How to remove Multiple OS start-up

  1. Hi to all,

This question must be a simple one to answer I hope.

I tried to do a repair of my Windows XP by reinstalling.
I changed my mind and cancelled the reinstalation.

When I do start my compu now, it comes up with a multiple OS start-up screen asking me wether I want to start Windows XP professional or Windows XP Professional Set-up. The latter being the default makes that if i do not pay attention, i enter in the set-up instead of a normal start-up.

How can I get rid of this?

    Thanks for any help.

    Bert

You should edit your boot ini file as per these instructions HERE.

That should get rid of the multiple choice you have on startup.

    Regards Howard :)
