how to start mandriva installation?

    I installed Mandriva on a Dell laptop, and put that hard drive into another laptop... a Medion...
    (because the Medion doesn't have a working cd drive)
    now the xorg.conf file has all the settings for the dell
    i dont know what to edit in the file when i am looking around
    so how can i run the installation again to reset the settings?
    i know the disk is copied somewhere on my hard drive, i did it
    during the first install...
    so can i start it up again?
