Hi just wondering Im in Australia, I want to see if Its possible to stream the footy onto the internet so My friends can be able to watch it? Is that possible? If I have a tuner Card and a program that can convert it to stream over internet would that would is their anything for that?
Thanks

There are several programs that allow you to watch tv over the net. Like sopcast, Tvu player, & zatoo There a a few websites with guides how to do this. Try these.

http://livefooty.doctor-serv.com/

http://www.freefootball.org/

A lot of these sites and software include adverts unfortunatly, but i am always able to get all the live football.

As for streaming it yourself, I would say a really fast upload speed would be needed.

Hope this helps. :)

No, I don't think that is what he is asking. He wants to take TV he gets from cable, or satellite, or whatever, normal tv that he gets with his tv tuner card, and then redistribute that to his friends.

It can be done, I don't know how myself, but that is how much of Justin.tv works.

I thought it would be easier to get it "straight from the horses mouth" so to speak.

Most "normal tv channels can be picked up over the net these days with programs like zattoo and BBc I player. And a lot of channels have dedicated on demand servers too.

Unless you have a really really fast upload speed, you will not be able to stream as quickly or anywhere near the quality you will get from the links above.

However if you want to stream your own custom videos, try this

Good luck.
