How to turn off norton firewall

    i have a compaq laptop running windows vista and can't turn off my firewall through norton any thoughts thanks

    It's in services.msc (you just need to run that)
    But the best way, is to uninstall it :)

    i cant find anything to do with firewalls in the services

    I'm sure it's in Start-->Run--> services.msc

    Unless you are just speaking about, opening the Symantec (ie Norton) Firewall up, and changing the settings to low or something (that might do as well)

    ya i just need to turn off my firewall because i can't transfer pictures from my phone to my laptop

    Yes it's in the firewall settings in there somewhere
    I really don't know (although I know it exists!) because I detest Norton !
