How to update bios?

    I dled the newest bio from asus, but i have no idea how to make it update. How do i manually update my bios?

    You need to flash it, with the software. There's also a utility that will let you do this.

    It's not recommeneded to flash your mobo's BIOS unless you REALLY need to.

    If you screw up, you screw up for good.

    There's should be a program that ASUS provides (should be on your drivers cd or maybe downloadable off the web for your board).

    You'll either be able to do it in Windows and then it will take effect on reboot, OR you'll have to make a boot disk, it'll run do its thing, then you take it out and restart your computer regularly.
