How to update/flash a BIOS

    Hi, I have an ASUS M3A Motherboard.

    I have downloaded the latest (non beta verison BIOS), and i want to upgrade my motherboard using it.

    I have the ASUSupgrade utility which seems easy enough to use, but some people do not recomend using a windows based bios flasher.

    Is their a better/ just as easy way to do it. If so, how do I do this?

    Also, If i downloaded and installed a new BIOS would I have to set it all up like the programmers do when you buy the computer, or will it keep the same settings?

    How to flash/update your BIOS
    Please note in some cases it is best to Flash your Bios before loading Windows

    Asus should also have a proceedure specifically made for your system as well
