Master Bios Password, Please HELP!!

my laptop is locked with a bios password and dell will not help me unlock it. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME! I am in a Doctoral Program and all of my files are on this damn laptop.

Lost Bios password HP nx9010

Yesterday I cleared the biospassword on a HP nx9010.
When the notebook starts it prompts for a password.
Leaving this empty doesn't work and the old password doesn't work either.

Can someone give me a masterpassword?

Can you help me with my password problem, Dell Netherlands won't help me.

It is an Inspiron 6400, servtag C9D0V2J - 595B

Try to repair my latop after he drunk some wine(from my wife), bought an used mobo. Now it will start up again but i don't now the password.

Unknown internal hdd password!

Received a Dell Inspiron B130 laptop that the customer doesn't know the internal hdd password and can't get to boot it. I've tried all of the passwords for Administrator, etc and family names but can't get in. Is there a backdoor way to delete the password? Dell service was of little help (none).

Hello ,

I hope someone can help me, I have a Dell inspiron 6400 and the mobo was dead. I bought a used mobo and now it will start up again but stops at the password menu.

Dell Netherlands won't help me because I don't now the first owner of the laptop/mobo, it came from a company that is now out of business and the owner is nowhere to be found. He bought the laptop in person so it must be on his name.

Can someone help me with my password problem?
It is an Inspiron 6400, servtag C9D0V2J - 595B (C9D zero V2J)

How to erase the EEPROM of DELL 1501

Hi, everyone,
any one konw how to erase the EEPROM of DELL laptop INSPIRON 1501?
I have used the svctag.exe,
but the ee-cpb.exe can't erase the eeprom,
are there other utility can erase it?

Hello anyone whom is able to help me. I just bought dell Latitude D620 laptop. Unfortunately, it is locked, with the gray screen and with the pw question :-(. I already try everything, but nothing helps me. I have also tryed looking for the chip to short out but couldn't find it. So this is my last chance.

Dell latitude D620 Password Reset

Hello,

I just purchased a D620 and I get the Grey Screen asking for the password. The Serial is #DZGM4D1-595B. I have looked at all the forums and it appears some of the passwords were able to be created but if anyone knows how to get the master password for this it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all.

I have been bequeathed a broken laptop (D400) with a system password on it (thats a system password, not a BIOS one) which I have been using as a pet project to see if I can get past the protection. Now I know that you can use the Master_PW.exe program for the 35b tags (or whatever they are. I forget now) but not the 395b tags. (mine is #4H9D21J-595B)

Obviously the paperclip method is open to use, but finding the damn chip is a pain to say the least. I only found a 24c256n chip, which sounds right and has 8 legs, but since it is not the standard 24C02W6 chip that gets talked about, I am not even sure if this is the correct one - not to mention which legs need shorting!

So, to the point: with a 595b tag, is the only way to gain a password to short the pins on the EEPROM chip? If so, which legs to short!?

Am I right in saying that, other than Rustam_, if you have a 595B tag, you can only bypass the system password with the paperclip? If this is the case, which pins to short? I have a 24c256n eeprom chip, and shorting pins 3 and 5 dont seem to do anything. :-(
 
Oh poop. I didnt think that threads would be merged also. I have done the trawling, and apart from a small number of very helpful people/posts, most of these threads seem to be: "I am in trouble! help! Here is my tag".

I kind of wanted to do it myself, and so started my own thread. That said, I have posted in that thread anyway, so thanks!
