    can anyone help me to figure out wats wrong wit my pc hp dv4000 laptop it wont turn on not even the power cord shows when its plug in to the pc please help me and be specific cause I dont know much thank u

    "not even the power cord shows"... What does this mean? No light on the AC adapter or on the laptop when you plug the AC adapter into the laptop?
