HP G60-519wm no sound?

    Alright Guys i had my laptop hooked up to my stereo and i went to change the speaker property enhancements and my laptop froze. And now there is no device found coming up and will NOT play sound out of computer speakers or head phone jack. What do i do? i need my music... lol plz help

    I would remove the audio software (from add/remove programs), and un-install the audio driver from device manager, then reboot the laptop and install fresh copies first.

    See if that resolves your problem.

    Also, what operating system are you using?

    The audio driver from device manager, or better yet, it might be worth looking to see if the manufacturer of your laptop has an audio driver if you haven't previously installed one.

    It sounds like its software related to me.

    WMP is just a media player. :)
