HP G7000

My hp G7000 laptop is going crazy and I think I am next in line...when I type a TEXT, it automatically appears in capital letter while my CAPS LOCK is OFF and when I turn it ON it writes small letters. I can write in small font only when the caps lock is ON. please how do I go about it

Lets try a reset, completely shut down the laptop, remove the power plug and remove the laptops battery. Press and hold the power button for around 10-15 seconds (yes it won't turn on). Now put the battery back in and plug it into the ac adapter and turn the system on and boot to windows. Test the keyboard and report back.
