HP has unveiled two new budget-conscious business-oriented laptops, the Compaq 515 and 610. Priced pretty competitively with netbooks, they offer a bit more muscle. The 515 is available from $429 with an AMD Turion or Athlon X2 CPU, a 14\" LED-backlit display, up to 3GB of 667MHz DDR2 RAM (upgradeable to 8GB), an integrated ATI Radeon HD 3200, up to 250GB of hard drive space and a DVD burner. It is 802.11a/b/g/n capable and houses 3 USB 2.0 ports, 1 VGA port, ExpressCard and secure digital slots, an optional 2MP webcam a 6-cell battery and weighs 5lbs.

GMA X3100 needs to die off. Aside from just having extra GMA X3100 based chipsets lying around, there is no good reason for using this any more. I could list many good reasons, but I don't think I even need to explain myself for this opinion.
  3. the price with 450$ is nearly the good as with core 2duo processor and with the 250GB hard disk is really great.. it will cost near about 21000/- in indian currency....as for the big market like india..this step really matters a lot
  4. Hell will freeze over and then actually achieve a temperature lower than the zero point energy before hp will build a linux compatable computer like their website says. http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF06a/321957-321957-64295-3929949-3955548-3957678.html
