The fan in this laptop is loud. I don't really think there is anything wrong with it. If I replaced it with the same it would still be loud I'm sure. I was wondering if there was an ultra quiet replacement I could use. The noise is mostly objectionable when the processor is asked to do a little extra work. I have cleaned the vents internally and externally.
