Hp pavilion dv6500 screen blank

i have problem with my laptop the screen is blank,but it work perfectly with an external monitor,i therefore assume the screen is faulty.replaced the new screen have not resolved the issue.Anybody has got any ideal i would be appriciated.

was the screen replaced with the correct make and model...?

Did you change the inverter over from the old board or did it come with one, (inverter: a small board usually across the bottom of the screen)

when you fitted the board did you make sure you seated all the conenctions properly..

hi this is vantran thanks for your advice. the screen was replaced is correct but not original made.the display inverter is fine because i have another laptop dv9000 is currently good working condition, swooping the diplay inverter over.i m thinking of replacing the screen cable.what is your surgestion?

can somebody help me i am stuck, i have also replaced the screen cable but the issue still there, has not been resolved.
