HP screen black spots!

hi , a few days back when i turned my laptop on in the morning , there were a small black spot on the screen with irregular edges, and over the days it is increasing and a new linear scratch black spot has appeared as well ! any suggestions to it ?? the laptop is still in warranty.... what should i do ??

i have a HP PAVILLION dv6 - 2150us Entertainment Notebook
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.

I'm not sure 3 different threads (all within 2 mins) with the same problem is warranted to be honest...

Regarding your issue, its a screen failure, so you need to make a claim with your warranty.

yeah, your screen is filled with dead pixels.
