HP to offer Centrino laptop with Linux

    Hewlett-Packard will unveil a new Centrino laptop which runs on SuSE Linux, it was releaved today.

    Although initially only available in the US, this new laptop can be yours for only $1,199. The "HP Compaq Business Notebook nx5000" is powered by an Intel Pentium M processor and is available with Windows or SuSE Linux as the OS.

    Whether or not this will spark a whole host of other Linux based laptops is another matter.
