HP TouchPad arrives early at Best Buy, Walmart

    Although the HP TouchPad is supposed to launch at the beginning of next month, units have already arrived at Best Buy and Walmart. They don't appear to be on sale…

    One expects that this would have to outperform an iPad, since the price is equivalent. (Yes, I do know that's the >list< price). It is however, in the iPad ballpark.

    It won't outperform an ipad 2. The ipad 2 uses an underclocked exynos chip with a powerVR SGS 543.

    The display isn't near as concerning as the cpu. Qualcomm's dual cores are being stomped by Tegra 2, OMAP4 and Exynos chipsets.
