HP Wireless Printer can't detect Netgear Router?

I just got an HP Photosmart C6380 printer that's wireless for Christmas. I'm trying to set it up right now and I'm doing it wirelessly. However, the printer cannot detect my Netgear WPN824 router, which is only 4 feet away. I can't, for the life of me, figure out why! Does anyone know why that is and how I can get the printer to detect it?
The printer allows me to manually add my router in but whenever I do, it still tells me that the network can't be detected. Any ideas? Thanks.

And if it makes any difference, it's definitely my router because the printer can detect my neighbor's router. I believe he has a Linksys. I, on the other hand, have a Netgear.

I do have SSID Broadcast on, so I don't believe that is the problem.

You need to do a lot more reading... about simple networks, and such... The info is available with the HP printer, and with your router... but hard to decipher.

the printer supports
Hi-Speed USB , IEEE 802.11b , IEEE 802.11g , Ethernet 10 Base-T
and your router supports
IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, 2.4 GHz
make sure BOTH are operating on 11g mode only :)
