    I really hope this is a trend as far as Android phones go. The entire concept, as I understand it behind Android was an "open" platform. Now granted, some safeguards have to be in place, but, the majority of phone users don't root or customize their phones, but there sure are a lot of us that do. Just look at the number of users on the XDA & Modaco sites alone.
