I cannot disable the proxy server options

Hello.

My internet option for the proxy server for Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome cannot be disabled. It is setting my system to use a proxy for 127.0.0.1 and for the port 8080. I cannot disable this and it will not let me access the Internet on these browsers how do I disable the proxy server on these browsers?

I have Windows 10 Home.

Log in as the Administrator
Go to Internet Options
set the Proxy settings from there to nothing

log off

log on as your user ID and check the proxy settings.

BTW: 127.0.0.1 8080 is typical of an antivirus program; disable it for a test.

Go to Chrome setting-> Click on show advanced setting
In Network click on -> Change proxy setting - > go to connection tab
Click on LAN setting - >
Uncheck "Use proxy server for your LAN"
Check -> Automatic detect setting
