I did a registry cleanup with CCleaner and when I open Yahoo Mail with Firefox 2, it won't open because my SSL protocols are disabled. I checked tools and they seem to work fine. I even had to go to about:config to fix that, but to no avail. It won't let me to go to Yahoo Mail.

It also says in the Alert that this could be related to my browser's security registry. I deleted with with CCleaner. How I can identify this registry so I can log in to Yahoo Mail again?

Can you open mail.yahoo.com under IE to test? If IE works then try downing Firefox 3 and install it.

You could try this....

Firefox 2.0.0.15 is still available for download. Like raybay, I'm not quite convinced that FF 3 is the best idea, (at least as of yet). Visit; http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html with a different browser and download the installer. Save it on 2 different drives if you have them. Oh heck, and the desktop too.

FIRST: Export you bookmarks to the desktop...! (Bookmarks>Organize > File > Export) Then run the FF uninstaller.

Next go into C:/ >program files, and delete the entire "Mozilla Firefox" folder.

Download this register cleaner: http://www.tweaknow.com/RegCleaner.html

Install and run it. Delete any stray Firefox entries. Just FF entries for now.

Import your books, (same filepath), well except "import".

The only downside to this procedure will be that you'll have to reinstall all your themes and extensions.

Hopefully CCleaner didn't damage any entries related to Yahoo Mail itself.
