    I cant reformat my pc!

Every time i put my bootable cd in my cd-rom, it says 'Press any key to boot from cd' but whenever i press any button, no buttons work. My keyboard is perfectly fine so i dont think my keyboard is the problem. And everytime the message appears, it does'nt boot the cd and it goes to the screen where you can choose from the three choices such as safe mode and the other choices and it countdowns from 30 to 1 but my keyboard doesnt work in that screen too. I've checked everything in the BIOS but i just can't seem to figure it out.

What the heck do i do?

Is this a USB keyboard? If yes, check your BIOS to see if anything like Support USB Legacy is listed and make sure it's enabled. Otherwise, do you also have a PS/2 port to try connecting PS/2? Also is this a wired or wireless keyboard?

go into your bios and disable any other boot options... Just remember to re enable them as soon as your PC restarts. You will need to boot from hard drive to complete setup
