I get this Error when i try to install cod 2 patch

    A patch that recently came out for people with hyper threading technology (Intel) for cod 2 has not been working on my comp
    I get this stupid error and i don't kno what to do ...Error 1719 The Windows INstaller Process could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in Safe Mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed Contact yoru support personnel for assistance.

    I unno what that error means or w/e
    I have hyper threading technology 3.4 ghz comp Umm 1 gig of ocz ram
    7800 gtx sli tech... umm 250 gig harddrive raid thats pretty much it umm 20' LCD monitor...
