I just started Win 7 and having connection problems

I just started windows 7 and my router is working fine. All my other computers found the network just fine. I am using a netgear WG511T adapter and a brand new cisco router. It installs properly and windows says it is working properly. The only thing is, is that it see no networks. I am about to reinstall the os. Any sudgestions?

I might be totally off, but do you think it could be a missing driver due to the new OS installation?

Make sure that Windows 7 has all the latest updates. Try using Windows 7 drivers instead of Netgear. Make sure you remove all prior drivers off the system. So when you reboot system it can't find any drivers to install. Now let Windows 7 search the internet for the correct driver. Make sure that the device supports Windows 7 and either 32-bit or 64-bit depending on what version of Windows 7 you have.
