I love to eat...

This is probably the oldest thread I've seen resurrected here.

That said, I like pretty much any non-contaminated food.

Good Lord, this thread is 5+ years old! lol

My favorite food would have to be yogurt, followed by fresh fruit and well made cheeseburgers.

The best food in the world is the rib sandwiches they serve at my school cafeteria on Thursdays. A gift from God...

Chicken - pretty much any kind of chicken. I do as the cowz tell me to do.

Taco Bell... yum! Especially the beans inside their tacos! :slurp:

Are there any "Lidl" stores in the US? Love those. Don't have Walmart over here...

Oh yeah, I also love to cook! - with a lot of wine, sambunigrin and of course vodka, every Slavic guy loves vodka! (even though it tastes sh** without any add-ons).

I also eat at McDonald's once every four months. I just don't like the plastic taste they inject inside the fries over here...

One of my favourites to cook for company and guests is grabbing a nice choice cut of tri tip steak at my local market. Once I get it, which is like a day before my guests would arrive, I open up the tri tip and start marinating it in a blend of lite liquid smoke, some port red wine and a dash of minced garlic. Let that sit in the cooler all night long! 10-12 hours at least for the marination, then about 1-2 hours before I fire up my weber gas grill, I mince up some garlic and onions, and give the tri tip a lite olive oil rub, as to preserve freshness and juices. Then just before I'm going to throw the meat on the grill, I liquefy a stick of butter by zapping it in my microwave oven. Then I take a cookers syringe and load it up with the butter and minced onion and garlic, a 15-20 gauge cookers needle works the best, it lets the minced stuff go right through! Jab that meat about 15-20 times with that needle, pump up that meat with the butter and garlic and onions into the inside of it and then throw that bad boy on the grill. As your cooking the meat, use the left over marinade, pour it on top of the meat every time you flip it on the grill, keep the meat moist and juicy.

With the grills heat set to medium-high the cooking process only takes about 20-25 minutes, if you like your meat medium well. In between flipping the meat on the grill take a can of mixed veggies and put it in a small pot and set the burner for simmer, while your doing that prep some french bread or sour dough bread on start litely toasting that on the second tier of the grill. If you got kids, now would be a good time to tell them....."hey kids set the table"! And the rest is fricking heavenly good!

Oh yeah an ice cold beer or a chilled bottle of white wine, maybe in the zin family goes real good with this, sometime a semi chilled bottle of Chardonnay as well.

S.O.B. I just made my self hungry, great it's like 2:00am California time, I know what's for dinner tomorrow! :grinthumb
