I need a resource friendly anti-virus/spyware

Hello friends,
Me again. ahh..! I need a real resource friendly but good anti-virus/spyware. Right now i am using kaspersky latest version and AVG anti-spyware(full version). I think kaspersky is eating too much resources and so do avg(but lesser than kaspersky).
So, i need a resourse friendly anti-virus. My system configurtion is Pentium D 2.8 ghz, 512 DDR2 ram, 128 MB 5200 agp card and 80gb SATA.

Maybe give these a try.

Avast free antivirus programme.

Comodo free firewall programme.

You could try AVG Anti-virus too, Avast takes longer to do scans and it doesn't have a progress bar to show you when it's almost done

Spybot Search & Destroy.

Ad-Aware se personal.

Spyware Blaster.

AVG Antispyware.

Ccleaner.

I included Ccleaner as it helps in removing crap from your system.

I would say AVG, Avast has a animated ( sortof ) GUI so if your computer is low then it'll sortof lag, never tried kaspersky / Dr.Web

AVG and Avast are both fairly resource friendly.

As for Antispyware programmes, you should just run them when you want to. That way, they don`t make any additional demands on your system.
