I need these drivers for ethernet for windows XP

Here's a couple ways to try

1. go to this Compaq support site. Check the Software and Downloads task. Then enter product number (note they also giveinstructions on how to find that problem number)

2. If above fails

• Make sure all your devices are connected and powered on
• Click Start->Run, enter: msinfo32. Click the + sign next to Components to expand it
• Click Problem Devices. Anything appear?
• If yes, click on it, Ctrl-A to select all, Ctrl-C to copy it, Ctrl-V to paste into next post

1.-I did not find anything

2.-Now I'm not on that computer, but in the device manager still shows the yellow question for "ethernet controller"

OK but what i really need is the detail provided by that Problem Devices report for me to try and help. So please try and run it when you're on the other computer again. You'll have to copy/paste the text data it displays to a flash drive or something so you can attach it to your next post
