i just got an xbox 360 and i had a old comp laying around and decided to put it in my room and i hooked it all up and compaq comes on the screen and then a little white dash shows then it goes black and nothing comes up what should i do

I found out what was Wround I had some of the Pins from the Old Processor Stuck in the CPU Socket, I'm Clearing the CMOS right now, in Hope that it will Post.

Any Suggestions on what might Happen if it doesn't Post?

The Mobo or the Processor Mightove Shorted out?

If I might make a suggestion, you shouldn't just post all your questions in different random, unrelated existing threads. It makes it so difficult to follow what the heck you're talking about. I suggest that you start you own thread next time and stick with it.

That said, why not wait to see if it posts or not before worrying about what to do if it doesn't?

Sorry about that, and my System is not Posting.

I also ment to Post on the same Thread.

I Removed everything from the Case and Re-Assembled my Computer, Still not Posting tho.

I just Checked the Jumpers and saw that Something wasn't Right, I'll see if it Posts here in a Bit.
