So, for a bit more than a week, my laptop has been randomly freezing on me, the screen randomly going blank, or blue (my background color, not a bsod). Sometimes it happens in middle of activity, sometimes it happens after i return to my computer after it being idle. The only way to fix it is for me to manually restart the laptop by holding the power button.
This last time, however, when i turned back on the computer, I was rewarded w. a minidump file in the event viewer. the troubleshooting link said it was a bsod, despite me not seeing an actual bsod.

can anyone tell me what the problem is?
