I want to be an ID3 master

    Someone please guide to where I can learn how to program an MP3 ID3 tag editor. People are trying to get rich by selling their programs and the ones available for free are cumbersome to use. I want to make my own. I'll be working in C++ or maybe Java.

    Say you wanted to take a directory all from the same artist that doesn't have ID3 tags yet. Entering Author, Album, Year, Comments, Encoded By, and Title would be quite time consuming if you had to do it all by hand in winamp3 for each song. You could make a program to do it as a batch then all you would have to do is enter the title.
    I'm at my parents house right now and don't have winamp3 installed so maybe you can do them as a batch in winamp3.
