I want to do a complete clean of my laptop. That means taking it back to the original factory settings and getting rid of every file and application on there. A complete and total clean.
It is operating on Windows XP and I have the original authentic code but I do not have any boot discs. - where can I get that info from? I am happy to download the info and make new set up discs myself (as appose to purchasing them) but I don't know where to get them from.
    Can you help?

"I want to do a complete clean of my laptop"...

This is called a "factory restore"... Do you see any options to Press F something for any restore options when the laptop begins to boot? If not, you will have to get an XP install CD from someone or buy a restore CD from the laptops manufacturer
