I recently bought an IBM thinkpad off of ebay and it clearly stated in the item description that it had wireless connectivity, now that i have it home, i put windows media center on it and now it wont connect to the internet at all. I have a wireless network that all my other laptops and game consols connected to easily but for some reason nothing even comes up on the IBM. I plugged it in to get a wired connection but still nothing, its like it doesnt recognize it. When I go into the control panel and go through the obvious network and internet setup applications, it appears it mostly wants me to connected vis VPN, dial up or broadband through my ISP. Is it possible that m wireless network card in the comp isn't functioning through lack of a driver?
If anybody could help me out in getting this laptop connected to the internet, it would be greatly appreciated and i thank you in advance for any help you can give!
