Hello, I need some help in opening an IBM T60 Laptop. I accidentally dropped it and the CD drive seems to be jammed. I want to open it and fix the CD Drive. If you could help me in opening up the laptop that would be very helpful. Thank you. redv
Hi redv  and welcome to TechSpot First thing to do is to download you user manual You can also find some useful guides here: http://repair4laptop.org/disassembly_acer.html
The drive should have a tiny physical eject hole init. Have you tried pushing a straightened paperclip or sth similar in there to force the tray open?
The link is www.lenovo.com and you can search by your type number. you might also want to register at the superb Thinkpad Mailing List at stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad There is also the excellent www.thinkpads.com All these users are very helpful, experienced, and willing to help on those two sites. Have you tried removing the screw on the bottom, and those on the edges that loosen the case?
