Icon appears when downloading file

  1. I recently had Windows Vista re-installed on my PC. Downloads are saved in a personal folder opened via a desktop shortcut icon. Now whenever I download and save a file it contains a small version of the same icon in the bottom left hand corner. This disappears when saving direct to the desktop, so must be an issue with the computer settings. Not the most serious problem, but didn't happen before and very annoying. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's also the icon I chose to use on the desktop, so assumed it was replicating that. How do I find out if the folder is shared? I don't have a network so not sure how it could be.
