IE is very very slow

    I am using Windows XP Professional, SP3 with IE6. Once I upgraded to IE7 and as it was very slow I uninstalled IE7. Since then onwards whenever I open IE, all the sites that I access, I get very very slow response either from office or from home. This is quite annoying and am unable to fix it.
