Inactive IE missing from start & desktop

Dear Frends,

i faced one virus attack on my pc last week. i mentioned the same in this forum and got the remedies also. https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic168331.html

unfortunately after clearing the problem now i noticed that my Internet explorer is missing fro the start button, programs and from desktop also. i downloaded the new version from the net and installed. but its doenst came back to the above said locations. i can run it from its root dir. i strongly believe the virus still trying to make me in trouble.

what to do ?
