I'm not exactly a hero if it comes to fix problems that i have or had in my pc, this time it's no different.

When i started my IE yesterday i saw there was something wrong. I noticed it when I intended to read my mail in hotmail--> It does not open my email message, neither delete it.

So i went surfing a bit more, and again i noticed something strange...in a well known webpage there weren't any links at all. So i downloaded IE6 again, and installed it. But unfortunatly this doesn't fix my problem

If you Windows 2000 OS then do this

Uninstall IE 6 , restart system , then install Service Pack 3 , if possible 4 , then install the IE 6 With IE 6 Serivce Pack 1 .

This all Service pack are avalible easly on net.

Hope this could solve this problem.

I've tried this allready, but i'm running WinXP. and i have no clue how to uninstal IE6. The traditional way by: add/remove software->windows components->IE is not working...it wil only remove the shortcuts and not the entire IE.

If you can tell me how to remove IE entirely running WinXP I would be very grateful!

i would try a spyware scan and an antivirus scan.
for spyware use ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com)

This had no result unfortunatly
I'm kinda desperate, so if someone can tell me how tu completely uninstal IE6 i would be very thankfull

IE6 is not working

Uninstalled SP1, it contains the Java VM that I think my be causing your problem.
