IE7 not working after spyware removal firefox works

IE7 won't work for me.
I uninstalled ie7 and ie6 would not work either. I reinstalled IE7 and the browser still doesnot work. I checked out everything I could think of but it still is broken.
Please help

if your internet has never stopped working, it could be that the spyware removal software decided that something in ie is dangerous to your computer. You could have also downloaded a patch that the spyware thought was dangerous. Did you download the google web accelerator?

We have seen a LOT of errors involving Firefox 2.0.0.10 and 2.0.0.11. We went back to 2.0.0.8 and have seen no futher problems.

FIrefox is working fine, IE7 is broken
