IE7 Stopped error

By Michelle2

  1. I have a system with Vista Professional running IE7 and Office 2000/2003 outlook.

Whenever I click a weblink in office apps, I get Internet Explorer has stopped working and will close.

If I type or copy the address and paste into IE it works Ok.

Other than using another browser are there any thoughts what could cause this and how to resolve?

I would suggest that you delete Office 2000 and only run Office 2003. Office 2003 should have migrated all the important Office 2000 settings and data, when it was installed. I upgraded from Office 2000 Pro to Office 2007 Pro, deleting Office 2000 in the upgrade process...

From what I understand 2 different versions of Outlook cannot exist together on a single computer

That's good... I fixed my previous post. I migrated from Office 2000 Pro to Office 2007 Pro, like you are going to do

    Hi Tmagic650

Well, since installing office 2007 pro plus, and firefox, the problem seems to have resolved itself. I think it may be a problem in IE, as a few people I know seem to be experiencing problems.

So now starts the mass migrate to Firefox

    Thanks for your help
