IE8 will not start

Hi,
Recently IE8 opens & a window shows up as per screen shots.

I now resalted to Firefox but it does not suit me.

Can you help please with IE8:

I'm no pro,but does that happen everytime,or occasionally?
Firefox is a much safer browser. What didn't you like about it?
I myself use Firefox,SeaMonkey ( my default) & Google Chrome.

Maybe one of the add-ons is causing the problem? I'm using IE9 now (FF5 is my default), I think IE8 had this as well. From Control Panel, open Internet Properties, click on the Programs tab. Then Manage add-ons. Try disabling all the add-ons, then start IE8, if that works then start enabling the add-ons one by one. Tedious, but probably the best way to figure out the problem. Btw, have you applied all IE8 updates?

I do believe my IE8 is up to date but I don't use it. I usually use SeaMonkey (my default) , Google Chrome or Firefox.
